Studying at Sophia University in Tokyo.

Self-confessed high achiever, she needs to be better than others in what she does. 

From her mild temperament it was difficult to understand what she actually meant.

She did not look like someone who put others down in order to be on top.

She asked what she feels is jealousy when she finds others doing better than her,

and added if she cannot be the best, she is just wasting her time. 

She went through 30 or so oils, separating them to likes and dislikes.

Told her to reject ones she did not like, and tell me her impression about ones she liked.

All floral scents with typically feminine quality were out.

All herbs were also either too sharp or to heavy, and also out.

When she met Frankincense, she said that was her favorite so far.

She liked Hinoki because it brought her down to earth.

Both are considered spiritual scents.

Out of flowers she liked Acacia, Linden, and Saffron

Acacia is a scent of introspection.

Linden is a familiar scent of Eastern Europe

Saffron is passionate but also spiritual.

I was surprised that she chose Saffron out of the three.

Frankincense, Hinoki, Saffron made the basic harmony. The top note was Fragonia - sharp but floral beauty from Australia.

And we added an accent of Blood Orange to suggest being easy on herself, and seriousness can also be with light.
